A vital source of useful information

I have subscribed to the HG Journal now for over 10 years now, and I look forward to its arrival in the post. I really like the inclusiveness of it – anything useful or interesting (within the remit of clear thinking and emotional health) is fair game, and almost anyone can end up on the end of an interview with Denise Winn or Ivan Tyrrell. I love the articles by other therapists, and the Pat Williams Page (which I generally read first). And the book reviews are a massively helpful source of new reading. For me, the HG Journal is a vital source of clean and clear information in an age where so much of what we take in is tainted by vested interests. It remains steadfastly independent (no advertising), and this means that it can focus *its* attention freely, and fearlessly, on stuff that really matters. Neither is it trying to sell the reader anything, nor to foist an ideology. I would recommend it to anyone.

Outstanding content - very useful publication

I always look forward to my next issue. The price may seem expensive but that's because the journal doesn't take advertising so every page is full of helpful, interesting information and articles. I've learnt so much from it over the years and constantly refer to my back issues for inspiration and ideas. Would highly recommend to anyone interested in psychology and human nature.

A brilliant resource

I rarely take the time to write reviews but wanted to share my enthusiasm for this journal - which is of such a consistently high standard. I never fail to find the material interesting or useful, and often re-read my old copies for inspiration and guidance, there's so much in them.

Really good

I took out a subscription for the first time this year and wanted to say how pleased I am that I did - thank you to everyone who makes this journal so interesting and helpful, there are no wasted pages of Ads either which I really appreciate. I've also bought quite a few back issues too and I'm taking my time to read through those as well, there's a lot of valuable information in them. Thank you for this rich resource.

Unbiased articles

I love this publication for its scientific content and unbiased writing. It's very rare to find any organisation which gives such balanced and interesting information regarding human behaviour and emotional support.
