Course Fees

The cost of taking the Diploma is the total amount you pay for all 3 stages, plus additional costs such as supervision when undertaking Part 3.

You do not need to pay for everything at once, and can work your way through each stage at a pace that suits you. (There is also the option to pay by installments, contact our office to find out more.)

Part 1

The cost of Part 1 of the Human Givens Diploma is the total price paid for taking all 17 diploma-linked courses (8 online and 9 attended).

The final amount you pay will depend on whether you take advantage of our bulk-buy discounts. The maximum amount you will pay for tuition at this stage is £3,450.

SAVINGS:  To help you get started on your Part 1 journey, we offer a multiple bookings discount – SAVE 10% when you book 5 or more attended courses at once (discount automatically applied at checkout) and enjoy 25% OFF the online courses when you buy all 8 together!

Please note – we are currently reviewing our Diploma curriculum and will be expanding the Part 1 course requirement from 2024, this will affect the cost slightly.

Part 2

This two-week intensive course costs £4,385.  This includes your tuition with 2 tutors, a comprehensive course manual, examination and ongoing assessment, refreshments and lunch on all 10 days. Before attending Part 2, you will need to have read the course manual (which is sent out once the fees have been paid) and essential elements of the Diploma Reading List.

Please note: Places on Part 2 are limited and fill up very quickly, to reserve yours on the date of your choice, you will need to pay a non-refundable registration fee of £300 when you apply – this fee is then deducted from the total cost of Part 2.  Payment plans – if you’d like to discuss paying for your Part 2 in installments, please contact Fiona Heffernan on +44 (0)1323 811690 or via email. How to Apply

Part 3

This is the professional Practitioner Level Qualification, consisting of 1 week’s intensive skills practice and ongoing assessment.  Attendance at ‘Week 3’ costs £1,992. This includes all tutoring, assessment, refreshments and lunch on all 5 days.

When working towards Part 3, students are also expected to have ongoing supervision with an HGI-accredited HG Supervisor, hold Professional Liability Insurance and be a Graduate Member of the HGI. It is your supervisor who will advise you when you are likely to be ready to take Part 3. (Read more)

To secure your place on the week, you will need to pay a registration fee of £500 when you apply. This amount is then deducted from the total course fee, but is non-refundable and non-transferrable.

Once you have successfully passed Part 3, and have been accepted as a Registered Member of the HGI, you are accredited to practice as a human givens therapist or counsellor.

The maximum you will pay for the training element of the Diploma is £9,827.  This includes VAT, all tuition costs and teaching materials, plus lunch and refreshments at in-person courses.

Additional costs include: the reading list and, after successful completion of Part 2, ongoing supervision fees, HGI membership and professional indemnity insurance.
