Online Courses


All of the material featured in our online courses and live online workshops is copyrighted and no part may be duplicated, copied, photocopied or reproduced in any form, or by any means, without prior permission in writing from Human Givens Services Ltd. ( Click here for contact details.)

Payment and course access

Once your payment has been processed and approved via PayPal, you will be sent an automated receipt and will have instant life-time access to your online training course. However, under no circumstances may any registered user share or distribute their user IDs or passwords to third parties. Any breach of these terms could result in the immediate suspension of the account.

You agree that any information you provide to us about yourself upon registration or at any other time will be true, accurate, up to date and complete. We reserve the right to terminate your registered online training account and access to our e-learning if we learn that you have provided false or misleading information. And we have the absolute discretion to cancel your username/password at any time if we suspect it is being used by an unauthorised person.

Under no circumstances whatsoever shall members distribute the courseware contained within this site. Each course is individually licensed and any member found in breach of this term shall have their account suspended immediately.

Cancellations and refunds

Live Online Workshops

If you wish to cancel your booking for a place on a live online workshop, you may do so up to 2 working days before the course date, by phoning or emailing the office.

No refund will be given after that date as you will be in receipt of any associate course materials and a recording of the day will be sent to you as a link.

Standard Online Courses

If you wish to cancel your enrolment on an online course you may do so within 7 days, so long as the course has not been accessed or started. Refunds are given at the discretion of Human Givens Services Ltd and must be requested in writing within 7 days of purchasing the course.

No refund will be given in the event that the course has already been started; it is not possible to offer refunds for partially viewed courses. We therefore highly recommend you read the course outline carefully before enrolling on a course to ensure it meets with your expectations.

Refunds will not be considered for technical difficulties that are outside our control, such as slow bandwidth performance. Our online courses are designed to be accessed using a broadband connection, but we have no control over the devices upon which the course is being viewed nor internet bandwidths which can affect performance causing brief delays in the downloading and display of film clips or HTML pages.


CPD certificates are issued to participants who have completed the entire course and requested one using the link at the end of the course.

Attended Courses

(in person and live online)

Bookings & Confirmation

All bookings are subject to availability on the chosen course.  Once we have received your booking for an attended course and full payment, we will send you a confirmation and receipt within five working days, either by post or electronically, confirming your place along with directions of how to find the event venue/or how to attend the live online training.


If you work or volunteer for an organisation, which will pay against an invoice for your place(s), please send us an official purchase order or letter of authorisation detailing who we should send the invoice to. We are sorry but we unable to invoice individuals.

CPD Certificates

Certificates of Attendance are issued to participants who attend the entire 1- or 2-days’ training and complete the event’s evaluation form.

To change dates or delegate names

We are happy to change the name of the delegate who is to attend a course upon notification. We will also change the dates/venue of your booking (provided the newly preferred date/location has availability), but in order to avoid an administration charge, you must give us a minimum of seven days’ notice prior to the date of the initial event you had booked onto.


We guarantee a credit for a future course, minus a £15 administration fee, if you have to cancel more than seven days in advance, and are genuinely unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances. If less than 7 day’s notice is given, a cancellation fee of £60 per course day will be deducted to cover incurred costs.

In the unlikely circumstances of any course being interrupted as the result of a natural or unforeseen disaster, or illness of the tutor, it will be rescheduled. If you are unable to attend on the rescheduled date, you will be given a full credit for a future event. We reserve the right to change tutors if necessary.

Please note: 

(a) personal arrangements and expenditure, including travel, accommodation, hospitality and other costs and expenses incurred by you relating to an event which have been arranged by you are at your own risk (we recommend you consider taking out your own insurance to cover this if your costs are extensive), and neither we nor the relevant event partner(s) shall be responsible or liable to you for any wasted or unrecoverable costs or expenditure in relation to such personal arrangements, even if caused as a result of the cancellation, rescheduling or alteration of an event, and

(b) neither we nor any relevant event partner(s) shall be responsible or liable to you for any loss of enjoyment or amenity, including where an event has been cancelled, rescheduled or altered; and

(c) neither we nor any relevant event partner(s) shall be responsible or liable to you (and you will not be entitled to any refund) if admission to a venue or event is refused or revoked at any time as a result of your breach of any event partner’s terms and conditions.

Please note

We reserve the right to remove a person from any of our courses if their behaviour is disrupting the learning experience of other students. This includes the 2-week Human Givens Diploma course (Part 2) and 1-week Part 3 course. If a decision to remove a student from the Diploma Part 2 course or Week 3 is made, we will refund the fees for any remaining unattended days of the course at our discretion.

We also reserve the right to turn down a booking for any other live training (whether in person or online) from anyone who is known to be disruptive, or where there is due cause to suspect that they might be disruptive. In such circumstances the full course fee would be refunded.
