Further Information: Joy has been supporting people with emotional problems for over 15 years in various roles. With experience of crisis counselling with Samaritans, Joy gained a solid understanding of what it means when despair leads to suicide. Joy decided to train professionally as a relationship counsellor about 10 years ago, and began offering counselling to individuals and couples with Marriage Care.

While keeping up to date with the latest therapeutic techniques, Joy became interested in the Human Givens approach, and decided to train
as a Human Givens Therapist with Mindfields College. Joy graduated with both the Human Givens Diploma, and the Post Graduate Human Givens Diploma. As well as running her own busy private practice, Joy has also been working as a school counsellor in Hertfordshire, and as a consultant therapist to the Hertfordshire Leaving Care service.
